 Leaflet

Yuliana Avdeeva, winner of the 2010 Chopin Competition is one of today’s hottest musical properties. Her Chopin’s Piano Concertos were praised by The Guardian for their “real spontaneity” and “bold, dramatic shapes”, “energy” and “spellbinding beauty”. In her debut with the HK Phil, she will perform the Second Concerto, which was regarded by Liszt as “of a perfection almost ideal, its expression now radiant with light, now full of tender pathos.” One of the most respected Maestros on the podium, Hans Graf will present Brahms’ soothing Third Symphony.

“…This Russian pianist is a revelation. She plays brilliantly with emotion and a magical touch. Her audiences are caught under her spell.”Le Journal du Médoc
