PART I Schools Concerts
 

Each hour-long concert is tailored to the needs of your specific class’ age group. Each concert can be enjoyed by all your students, whether they are studying music or not. All concerts qualify as Other Learning Experience events. Support materials for teachers and students are included. Each concert includes interactive elements, and supplies a joyful and unforgettable live concert experience to your students. Demand for our concerts is always high. PART II Ensemble Visits (January to June 2019)
 

Give your students a close encounter with our dedicated musicians, and a chance to hear exceptional chamber music in your school. These hour-long performances include selections of light classics, entertaining introductions and instrument demonstrations.

   
PART III

Focused Ensemble Visits (January to June 2019)

 

The orchestra ensemble players will visit your school and offer professional coaching to your school orchestra/ band. Successfully selected schools will be offered a total of four visits. The first three visits would give the HK Phil orchestral musicians the chance to work with your school orchestra/ band in a short masterclass. The final visit would see your school orchestra/ band join with the ensemble players for a short concert at school assembly.

   
PART IV Instrumental Masterclasses
  Instrumental masterclasses take place every year. Young musicians can gain insights of performance technique from HK Phil musicians. All local full-time students aged between 6 to 25 are welcome to join.

  2. Observers: Please complete the online application form (TBC) from 5 to 27 December. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We will send you a confirmation e-mail after the application deadline.

Chamber Music Concerts

Chamber Music Concerts target primary and secondary school students. Each concert will be performed by an ensemble of HK Phil musicians of various instrument combinations. Musicians will talk from the stage to introduce their instrument and the repertoire. Each concert has interactive element and an appreciation guide will be provided to each student who attend the concert.
