Introduction This is a unique chance to
experience at the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra at work in rehearsal in the
Hong Kong Cultural Centre. The behind-the-scenes experience gives students and
their teachers the opportunity to see how an orchestra prepares for a
performance and learn from the orchestra musicians, conductors and guest
artists.
Application
Details This is a group booking. Attending students are
expected to treat the open rehearsal as a part of their music learning
experience and to listen attentively to the rehearsal. Participating schools are
encouraged to bring motivated students for a positive experience.

: AM Session – 3 hours with a 15 minutes break in between |

: Group must arrive 15 minutes at the foyer of the Hong Kong Cultural
Centre before the rehearsal starts |

Rehearsal Etiquette

Recording, filming and photography are not
allowed. |
| 2. |
Switch off your mobile phone and any other beeping devices before
the rehearsal. |
| 3. |
Reserve your applause until the end of the rehearsal. |
| 4. |
No eating or drinking of any kind is permitted in the concert
hall. |
Remarks
| 1. |
Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served
basis. |
| 2. |
The Hong Kong Philharmonic reserves the right to cancel or
reschedule the rehearsals without prior notice. |
| 3. |
The conductor and soloist reserve the right to amend the
rehearsal orders and repertoire. |
