A series of free pre-concert talks for every Swire Maestro Series concert

In 2006/07 the Hong Kong Philharmonic is introducing a series of free pre-concert talks for every concert in the Swire Maestro Series. Classic Insights will take place from 7:15pm to 7:45pm in the level 4 foyer of the Auditoria Building of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Talks on Friday evenings will be conducted in English and those on Saturday evenings will be in Cantonese.

About SWIRE Maestro Series
Forming the backbone of the 2006/07 season is the Swire Maestro Series which brings together leading conductors and soloists in major works of the symphonic repertoire. Edo de Waart continues his Mahler odyssey with the mammoth Third Symphony; David Atherton reaches the mid-point of his Sibelius cycle with the Fourth and Fifth Symphonies and three of the world’s greatest violinists perform three of the greatest concertos: Repin, Hahn and Bell playing Beethoven, Brahms and Tchaikovsky.

Concert tickets available at URBTIX, please refer to promotional leaflet for opening dates and details. 2721 2030 .
