Description The first free chamber concert of Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra's Mozart in the Museum was held in the first floor foyer of the Hong Kong Museum of Art on 7 February 2007. John Harding led members of the orchestra in Mozart's Divertimento in F and Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings, attracting about 200 audience members, which included office executives taking a musical lunch break, as well as tourists.
The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra presents three chamber concerts at the Hong Kong Museum of Art. The public has the chance to enjoy beautiful classical music against a great harbour view.
The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra performed Mozart's Divertimento in F major and Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings under the baton of Concertmaster John Harding.
Mozart in the Museum attracted about 200 audience members on Wednesday lunch break. More people flocked to the Hong Kong Museum of Art on the 2 Saturday concerts at 2pm & 4pm.

Description After the success of the first Mozart in the Museum last month, the Hong Kong Philharmonic again appeared at the Hong Kong Museum of Art in three concerts on 14 & 17 March (Wed & Sat). Victor Tam took up the baton to lead musicians from the Orchestra in a programme that includes excerpts from Mozart's famous Gran Partita as well as a number of Baroque favourites including Handel's Royal Fireworks Music.
