Harry Wong, presenter
Harry Wong (a.k.a. Harry Goh Goh) is well known to both children and adults for his funny antics and amazing magic tricks. Both music and magic have been part of his life since young, and with these gifts. Harry has brought joy to the public through all kinds of media. He is one of the leading specialists in the local music education field. His series of music textbooks, Music Today, and his recorder methods have been widely adopted by primary schools throughout Hong Kong.
Harry's original compositions and Chinese interpretations of Rick Scott's songs are available on the CD album The 5 Elements. This album won the 2004 North American Parenting Publications Gold Award and the 2004 Parents' Choice Award in USA. Harry's passion to bring joy to the world has guided him into becoming the CEO of QQ Club, a mega children's club that operates in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and United Kingdom encouraging a happy childhood through experiencing and learning through world-wide cultures
Lio Kuokman, conductor
Praised by the Philadelphia Inquirer as "a startling conducting talent", Lio Kuokman, is sought after as a conductor, piano soloist and chamber musician. Recent engagements include a performance with the Philadelphia Orchestra as both conductor and harpsichord soloist, and the Hong Kong première of Donizetti's La fille du regiment with Musica Viva in January 2010.
Lio graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music with a double major in orchestral conducting and harpsichord studies. Before entering Curtis, he received a master's degree in piano performance from the Juilliard School and a Bachelor Degree with first class honours from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
He has served as cover conductor for the Philadelphia Orchestra, assisting Charles Dutoit, Christoph
von Dohnányi, Jaap van Zweden and Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos. He has prepared the Curtis Symphony Orchestra for many guest conductors, and has studied in masterclasses with conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Michael Tilson Thomas, James Levine, Christoph Eschenbach and Alan Gilbert.
He was named assistant conductor of the Curtis Opera Theatre for many opera productions, and in 2008 was invited by Pinchas Zukerman to the Ottawa Young Conductors Programme where he conducted the gala performance with the Canada National Arts Center Orchestra.

Danger lurks…How will Peter get out of trouble without getting himself eaten by the wolf?

The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HKPO) is one of Asia's leading orchestras. The 2011/12 season will mark Maestro Edo de Waart's eighth and final season with the HKPO.
