Chair Endowment Fund
Endowing an artist's chair is a unique way to forge a deeper connection with the HKPO and its players.
As a sponsor of the Chair Endowment, you will enjoy unique privileges and get to build a relationship with the musician whose chair you have endowed in celebration of your commitment to the HKPO.
Sponsorship of the Chair Endowment requires a three-year commitment.
Positions that are available for endowment are:
Maestro's Chair
$2 million per annum
Assistant Conductor's Chair
$1 million per annum
Concertmaster's Chair
$750,000 per annum
First Associate Concertmaster's Chair
$500,000 per annum
Second Associate Concertmaster's Chair
$450,000 per annum
Third Associate Concertmaster's Chair
$400,000 per annum
Principal's Chair Co-Principal's Chair
$350,000 per annum
Assistant Principal's Chair
$250,000 per annum
Musician's Chair
$150,000 per annum

The Musician's Chair for cellist Anna Kwan Ton-an is endowed by C.C. Chiu Memorial Fund.
The Musician's Chair for violinist Xu Heng is endowed by Societe Generale Private Banking.
Sponsor Privileges: Naming rights, year-round acknowledgement, special invitation to the Annual Donor's Concert, special press release, unique coverage in our newsletter, sponsored chair's participation in sponsor's social events are just some of the unique privileges enjoyed by our Chair Endowment sponsors.
